Names are the official Romanian CAEN Rev. 3 titles. A PFA can have at most 5 CAEN classes; an SRL, any number. Search other codes by activity.

2Permits before you open

  • Food safety: registration or authorisation with the sanitary-veterinary authority (DSVSA), depending on what you prepare.
  • Health rules for the premises, checked by the public health directorate.
  • Operating approval from the town hall, for food service.
  • Fire safety: some premises need an ISU approval or authorisation.

Permits depend on the premises and what you serve. We give you the list for your venue in advance.

3SRL or PFA?

For a venue with staff, rent and investment, an SRL is almost always used: any number of employees and no personal liability. A small food truck can also start as a PFA or sole proprietorship. Compare in the calculator.

4The steps

  2. The nameWe check and reserve the name at the Trade Register.
  3. The documentsWe prepare everything for an SRL, with CAEN code 5630 or 5611. You sign once: at the office or from home.
  4. The certificateUsually within a few working days of the complete filing.
  5. You start tradingWith the registration certificate you open your bank, platform or client accounts.

  • ID cards of the partners and the director
  • Three name options for the company
  • Proof for the registered address. We draft the loan-for-use agreement.
  • The document for the premises you work from (workshop, venue, office), if different from the registered office
