1Your company in Cluj-Napoca, without travelling

2What type of company you can open
- SRL: a limited liability company with one or more partners and share capital of at least 500 lei. The most common form.
- PFA: you work alone, in your own name, with no share capital and simple bookkeeping.
- Sole proprietorship (Î.I.): like a PFA, but with up to 8 employees.
- Family business (Î.F.): for two or more members of the same family.
- A cooperative or an SA, for projects with several members or investors.

3The steps, from consultation to certificate

- The company nameWe check that the name is available and reserve it at the Trade Register, usually the same or the next day.
- You sign from homeWe email you the documents. You sign them with an electronic signature, or by hand and send them by courier. See how.
- We file the applicationOnline, with the Trade Register Office attached to the Cluj Tribunal, and we follow it until it is resolved.
- You receive the certificateThe registration certificate with your company's CUI. You can then open the bank account and start trading.
4Good to know for a company in Cluj County
- The registered office decides where the file goes. If the company's registered office is in Cluj-Napoca or elsewhere in Cluj County, the application goes to ORC Cluj. It doesn't matter where you or your partners live.
- The registered office can be your home. You can use your flat or house, with the title deed or rental agreement. If the property belongs to a relative or someone else, we draft the loan-for-use agreement (comodat).
- PFA with income norm. If your activity can be taxed by income norm, the amount is the one set for Cluj County. We tell you at the consultation whether you qualify.
