1The steps

2Documents needed
- The holder's ID card (for an Î.F., the representative's)
- The documents received at registration, including the registration certificate
3What's left after the strike-off
- File the single tax return (declarația unică) with ANAF for that year's income.
- If you had employees, their contracts are terminated and closed in REVISAL before the strike-off.
- Close the PFA's bank account, if you had a separate one.
- Keep your accounting records after the strike-off.
4Just want a break?
You can suspend the PFA for up to 3 years and resume whenever you want, without closing it.
5Frequently asked questions
Can I close a PFA at any time?
Yes. We file the strike-off request with the Trade Register. Afterwards you only need to file the single tax return for that year.
Can I close it if I owe ANAF?
The strike-off doesn't erase debts: they remain in your name and must be paid.
How long does it take?
Once the complete file is submitted, the Trade Register usually resolves it within a few working days.
Can I open another PFA later?
Yes. You can register a new PFA whenever you want.
